When compared to an actual "typical" replacement hospital, CareCenter^SM improves operating margin by 70% and stabilized cash reserves by 120%. And, of course, CareCenter^SM can be LEED certified.

Alignment
We're used to thinking about alignment in terms of relationships between physicians and hospitals. CareCenter^SM is designed to align the needs of physicians, patients and their families, nurses, payers, employees, and health system executives.

Simplicity
We unstacked the traditional "wedding cake" design of most hospitals to optimize environments for nursing care, interventional / imaging services, and office-oriented services. Because the basic building plan is a bit simpler, building systems are simplified and less expensive.

Markets
CareCenter^SM is a one stop shop for inpatient and outpatient healthcare services, designed around meeting the needs of specific patient types in ways that they will perceive as value-added.

Our scalable prototype contains 104 beds and comes with a rich modeling feature that plots the full financial impact of proposed changes to facilities or operations. It can be developed in stages to meet a market at points along its growth. Start with an MOB … turn it into an ACC by adding the D&T with ORs and imaging services... then an ED - and finally a bed tower when markets dictate.
