Lillibridge's Seton Williamson Medical Plaza I opens in Round Rock Texas
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LILLIBRIDGE AND SETON FAMILY OF HOSPITALS CONTINUES
CHICAGO IL and ROUND ROCK TX, Jun-4, 2008 – Residents in and around Round Rock, Texas, will benefit greatly from a new medical office building (MOB) on the campus of the Seton Medical Center Williamson. Lillibridge has expanded its relationship with the Seton Family of Hospitals by building a 120,000 square foot MOB named Seton Williamson Medical Plaza I. Construction of the new facility started in May 2007 and was complete in May 2008.
"It was a pleasure working with Lillibridge again, this time on our MOB in Round Rock, Seton Williamson Medical Plaza I,” says Tom Gallagher, SVP Business Development, Seton Family of Hospitals. "We have worked with Lillibridge on many other projects and have always appreciated their expertise and professionalism.”
Seton Williamson Medical Plaza I is a 120,000 square foot, four-story MOB that is located at 301 Seton Parkway, in Round Rock. The building was designed to complement the architecture of the adjacent hospital, and is connected to it via a sky bridge located on the second floor. The facility currently houses an integrative health center, women’s imaging center, outpatient rehab, and child care for employees of the hospital as well as the general public. A surgery center is also planned.
"We are very proud of the first MOB on our campus," says Mark Hazelwood President and CEO of Seton Medical Center Williamson. "Not only was Lillibridge great to work with during the development phase of the facility, but they have been willing to work with us relative to Seton’s recruitment efforts of new physician tenants to our medical staff. I appreciate their sense of partnership and dedication to all phases of this process."
Lillibridge partnered with the Seton Family of Hospitals in June 2004 when it acquired three medical buildings on three different Seton campuses.
"We worked with the Seton Family of Hospitals in 2004 and we were very glad to work with them again," says Todd W. Lillibridge, Chairman and CEO of Lillibridge. "When we got the opportunity to build, own and manage a new MOB on their Round Rock campus we were excited at the prospect of continuing the long-standing relationship between our two companies."
