Lillibridge starts MOB on Seton Southwest Healthcare Center

LILLIBRIDGE TO OWN AND MANAGE NEW HEALTHCARE FACILITY IN AUSTIN

CHICAGO IL and AUSTIN TX, Aug-6, 2008 –  Expanded medical services will be available to residents of Austin, Texas in a new medical office building (MOB) on the Seton Southwest Healthcare Center (SSHC) campus, which broke ground earlier this summer. Chicago-based Lillibridge, one of the nation's largest private healthcare real estate firms, will own and manage the 43,000 square foot facility scheduled to open in the summer of 2009.

The two-story medical office building has been designed to complement the hospital and the existing on-campus MOB. The facility will include a pulmonary rehab clinic, an MRI and a cafe. The hospital will also move its physical therapy and sports medicine center from its current location to the new building. An attached covered walkway will give patients and physicians convenient access to the hospital.

"Lillibridge manages and owns three other medical office buildings on our hospital campuses, Seton Medical Center Austin, Seton Southwest Hospital and Seton Northwest Hospital, and they do a great job," says Mary Faria, Hospital Vice President and COO, Seton Southwest Hospital. "We are looking forward to having another new MOB added to our campus in Austin. This new building will be a wonderful complement to the hospital. As we've reached our capacity, it allows us to expand key services and add additional services."

Lillibridge partnered with the Seton Family of Hospitals in June 2004 when it acquired three MOBs on different Seton campuses.

"We started working with the Seton Family of Hospitals in 2004 and we are very glad to be work with them again on the Seton Southwest Healthcare Center campus," says Todd W. Lillibridge, Chairman and CEO of Lillibridge. "We helped SSHC with the reapproval of the master campus plan, and when we got the opportunity to build, own and manage this new MOB, we were excited at the prospect of continuing the long-standing relationship between our two companies."
